Make your 30-minute Linux VPS trial count
Use a short trial to answer a focused question: does this location and configuration fit your project?

Prepare before the timer starts
Choose one question to test: reachability from your network, basic application compatibility or a small representative workload. Prepare non-sensitive test data and a short list of steps. A 30-minute trial cannot demonstrate long-term reliability, production capacity or an uptime guarantee, so define a narrow goal you can realistically check.
Create the test server
Register in the GhostVPS customer console and verify your email before creating a test server. The current trial provides Linux servers on OVH infrastructure. You can create up to three test servers in available locations, each for 30 minutes. This is a temporary test environment; it is not the Windows service or a free permanent VPS.
Run a small, representative test
Use the access details shown in Console and keep a record of the selected location and configuration. Test from the network your application or users will actually use where possible. Start with connectivity, then check one small application task. Avoid putting production credentials or your only copy of important data on a temporary server.
Keep results in context
Record what you tested, where you tested from and the time of the test. A result from your own network is useful for that situation; it does not describe every user's experience. If you compare locations, keep the workload and measurement method consistent. Do not treat one short benchmark as proof of sustained performance.
Before the trial expires
Save any useful notes and test output outside the trial server before its time ends. If the result fits your needs, compare the paid plan's resources, software, traffic, billing and availability in Console. Do not assume trial data will be preserved or automatically transferred to a paid service. Contact support if the next step is unclear.
