Before you start

An existing GhostVPS account that you are authorised to manage. Available controls depend on your permissions. Screenshots show real Console pages with private values hidden; no changes were submitted while capturing them.

Open Account Details

Sign in at console.ghostvps.com and open Account Details from the account menu. Check that you are viewing the intended client account before editing anything. Service management remains under Services; account settings do not replace a server control panel.

Review contact information and language

In Personal Information, check your name, contact email, telephone number and preferred language. Enter accurate information when a correction is needed, review it, then use Save Changes. This contact email is distinct from the user sign-in identity shown in Your Profile.

Review email preferences

Scroll to Email Preferences and read the available notification categories. Review the selections before saving any changes. These controls concern email notifications, not your sign-in password or the operating-system account on a VPS.

Find the separate sign-in profile

Open Your Profile to find Change Email Address. This is the user sign-in profile, separate from client account contact details. If you intend to change the login email, use an address you control, supply the required current password and follow any verification prompts.

Find the Console password controls

Open Change Password. The form asks for the existing password, a new password and its confirmation. Use a unique password stored in a password manager and save only after reviewing the entries. This changes Console access, not Windows or SSH credentials. If you have forgotten the current password, use the password-reset link on the login page.

Review Security Settings

Open Security Settings to review linked sign-in accounts and the Two-Factor Authentication entry. If you choose to enable 2FA, follow the on-screen setup and the official reference below. Keep authenticator secrets and recovery codes private. The screenshot shows where setup starts; enabling it was not part of the read-only capture.
