Before you order a VPS: a practical checklist
CPU, memory and disk are only the beginning. Check the region, software, traffic and billing details that shape the real fit.

Write down the essentials
Define the application, expected users and acceptable interruption before comparing plans. Separate what the workload needs today from what you hope to add later. Keep a record of required memory, usable storage and operating system. This gives you a consistent comparison instead of choosing by the lowest headline price.
Check resources and network terms
Read how CPU resources are described: a shared vCPU and a dedicated allocation are different. Review RAM, storage capacity and storage type together. For networking, check both the port description and the traffic allowance; a fast port does not mean unlimited transfer or guaranteed application throughput. Compare the actual plan terms in Console.
Choose the region and software
Choose a region relevant to your users or the systems you connect to, then test from those networks where possible. Verify the exact OS image and application requirements. GhostVPS Windows options include custom images, but supported versions and license costs must be confirmed for the chosen plan. Do not assume every service has identical image choices.
Plan access and recovery
Decide who will administer the server and how important files will be backed up. Do not assume backups, software administration or a control-panel license are included unless the selected service explicitly says so. Keep recovery information and copies of important data independently of a single server. A short infrastructure test is not a recovery plan.
Review the final order
In Console, confirm the billing cycle, currency, final amount, optional charges and availability. GhostVPS accepts cryptocurrency through Plisio, NOWPayments and Cryptomus; follow the instructions and payment conditions shown by the chosen gateway. If a requirement is unclear, ask support before ordering rather than assuming it is included.
